LifeSpeak’s workplace programs are designed to offer employees high quality information, in a proactive manner, in an atmosphere that supports sharing and community building.
Education
The LifeSpeak workshops provide employees the opportunity to learn from leading experts on a wide variety of relevant topics. Every speaker brought into an organization has been carefully screened to ensure they will deliver the highest quality practical information in an interesting and dynamic manner.
Our roster of speakers is comprised of individuals who:
- are viewed as experts by the media as well as their peers,
- are published in relevant publications,
- are affiliated with best-in-class institutions, and
- have substantial experience in their area of expertise.
At every workshop, participants receive valuable handouts and have the opportunity to ask questions and to provide feedback on their experience.
Preparation
Our goal at every workshop is to ensure that participants walk away with valuable tools, tips and strategies. To date, 99% of workshop attendees have indicated that they walked away with at least one suggestion that will save them time and energy.
By being proactive and addressing the common challenges that people face as they try to “do it all”, we hope to make the task of integrating work, life and family more manageable.
Support
Simply knowing that you are not in it alone is very comforting for many people. Bringing people together in the workplace who share similar situations or challenges creates an opportunity for employees to meet others like themselves and encourages the development of informal workplace support networks.
Fostering an open atmosphere where employees are welcome to discuss their experiences together can have a positive and significant impact on corporate culture and community building. To date, 100% of attendees have found the workshop environment to be comfortable and supportive and over 85% of attendees have said that the LifeSpeak program contributes to workplace community building.
